PsyDAO is governed by its community. Funding decisions and structural changes are made through PsyDAO Proposals (PDPs), discussed in the open and voted on-chain via Snapshot using the PSY token.

PSY is the token that votes on the PsyDAO treasury: 1 PSY is 1 vote. The "Buy PSY" tab on this page walks a first-time buyer through it in about 15 minutes — install a wallet, write the recovery phrase on paper, get some ETH, then swap the ETH for PSY on Uniswap.
PSY is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum mainnet, 18 decimals, at contract address 0x2196B84EaCe74867b73fb003AfF93C11FcE1D47A. No centralized exchange lists it, so Uniswap is where it trades. PsyDAO will never message you first and will never ask for your recovery phrase.
